This book covers  the Stacey/Stacy descendant family line of Thomas Stacey b. abt 1640 England , through, John Stacey b. abt 1677 Virginia and Benedict "Bennet" Stacy, b. 1725 Maryland and many of their descendants from Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi.

This book is  self published. Only 250 copies are available for sale. The 227 page book contains photographs and 9 chapters; 1 ) Stacey/Stacy, 2) Mattson/Davis, 3) Stewart, 4) Scoggin, 5) Hackney, 6) Weidner, 7) Norville, 8) Weber,  and 9)  Nancy Lucinda Stacy (Zachariah Stacy's daughter) Descendants.  The book is hard bound cloth cover with gold lettering. It is Royal Blue in color and is quarto sized.

Thomas Stacey, our ancestor arrived in Middlesex County, Virginia between 1672 & 1674, arriving from Waltham Parish, Colchester, Essex County, England. High points of his life include serving in the Army of Nathaniel Bacon During the Rebellion. After moving to St. Mary's, Maryland, he served on the Maryland State Council for 2 years or more. There he displayed his rebel side by signing a bill complaining about land. In 1694 he moved his family to the shores of Albemarle Sound, Chowan County, Edenton, North Carolina where he died in 1697.  His son, John Stacey moved back to, St Mary's, Maryland where at least two sons were born, including Benedict 'Bennet' Stacey, our ancestors.  Thomas left quite a legacy. His descendants spread across America as it grew from its colonial past.
